Meghan Ferguson is an Associate with the firm and practices in all areas of labour and employment law. She specializes in occupational health & safety and employment standards, and helps our clients effectively handle regulatory inspections and investigations. Meghan regularly represents employers before the Ontario Court of Justice, Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Ontario Labour Relations Board, Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, and Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal.
Prior to embarking upon her legal career, Meghan worked for the Ontario Ministry of Labour on various legislative initiatives, including the ESA 2000 and the Ambulance Services Collective Bargaining Act. Meghan also assisted in prosecutions under the Occupational Health and Safety Act and appeared before the Ontario Labour Relations Board on ESA Appeals.
Meghan is a graduate of the University of Ottawa Law School and the University of Toronto's Industrial Relations Program. She won the Advocates' Society 2004 Arnup Cup Award for Trial Advocacy. Currently, she is pursuing her Masters of Law part-time at the University of Toronto.
