HICKS MORLEY INTRODUCES LEGISLATIVE UPDATE BLOG
Hicks Morley is pleased to announce the launch of Human Resources
Legislative Update, a blog designed to provide human resources professionals with timely information about developments
in a range of employment-related areas. In this FTR Now, we highlight the features of this new service. To access

BACKGROUND
Since 1997, Hicks Morley has provided clients with regular, monthly updates on the progress of Ontario and federal
legislation, proposed legislation and legislative reform and regulatory initiatives related to labour, employment, education,
pension and benefits, and health and safety law—a service that continued with the launch of FTR Now in the fall of
2007.
Human Resources Legislative Update builds on this
tradition.

WHAT CONTENT DOES THE BLOG FEATURE?
The blog tracks a broad range of information, including the progress of select Ontario and federal legislation, select
regulations and regulatory initiatives including related commentary periods, and other government initiatives that may impact
employers or workplaces.
DOES THE BLOG REPLACE FTR NOW?
No. The content featured on the blog is offered to clients as a parallel service and has been designed to complement our
existing publications and resources. Accordingly, subscribers to our FTR Now service will continue to receive
notification of those updates by e-mail, and legislative and regulatory developments of particular importance will continue
to be highlighted to clients in a more detailed FTR Now format, where appropriate.
Human Resources Legislative Update users will be alerted to
the publication of a topical FTR Now relating to a specific blog post.
